The founder members were members of an interim board which first convened in Dublin, June 2006, during the 5th International Conference on Workplace Bullying and Harassment. The founder members were the organisers and owners of the international conference until the Association was formally established at the 6th International Conference on Workplace Bullying and Harassment in Montreal,  June 2008.
