Since 1998, as the world's leading authority on workplace bullying and harassment, the IAWBH has worked to stimulate, generate, integrate, and disseminate academic research and evidence-based practice to promote fairness, justice, and dignity at work for all. The IAWBH promotes collegiality and networking across its membership and with key stakeholders.

The IAWBH is an inclusive and culturally diverse association.

We welcome everyone who is concerned about bullying and harassment at work to join our association and contribute to our work.

Membership fee structure

Fees for joining the IAWBH were set in 2008 at the Montreal General Assembly. Following the 2016 General Assembly in Auckland, fees were amended to include discounted levels to reflect members' needs. We recognise economic differences across the globe, the needs of unwaged and retired members, and students. Our first ever increase occurred on 1 July 2025. Annual fees are currently charged in £GBP* from the day of joining and are as follows:

  • Full Regular Membership for those living in developed countries £80.
  • Student Membership £40**
  • Discounted memberships are available for unwaged people and those from countries listed by the United Nations (UN) as developing or transitioning - click for UN list £40.

Our membership structure is designed to make the Association widely accessible and encourage global contributions to the IAWBH community.

**Student Members must be enrolled in a full-time higher education course at the time of joining, and they should upgrade their membership on completion of their studies.

*We use £GBP for historic reasons but a change to $AUS is planned from July 2026, in accordance with our Constitution.
